Families Matter
The Families Matter program is available to struggling individuals and families. Families are allowed to enroll in the program for a maximum of three months. (We also offer one-month emergency services.) The program provides families with non-perishable food items, household cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items and other supplies including, but not limited to, fresh fruits and veggies, clothing, and other materials when supplies are available. The program also offers tutoring/mentoring for youth enrolled in the program who meet certain requirements. To participate in the program families must contribute a monthly $5 service fee, or complete five hours of community service and participate in two free workshops. The program is currently open to all Baltimore City residents, with priority given to those residing in 21218. Certain restrictions apply.
